the projects begin

We won two end tables and a buffet table at a silent auction for the total price of $50. We thought we got a steal-of-a-deal. The dresser is something I've had since our pre-marriage days. Luke and I were feeling ambitious. After two weekends, staying up in the wee hour of the nights, and over $100 worth in supplies; here are the end results. So much work and we can't decide if it was worth it.

In our entry way

End tables in the family room

The changing table for now but soon will be a cute junk drawer by the kitchen area

Intro

I have not posted in forever. Life is super busy; before I know it the day is over and many days I find that I have taken care of everyone else and not even taken the time to brush my teeth or get out of pjs. Alas the glamorous life of mom!

Like many of my posts, this is full of pictures by request of the Cook's and Colledge's.

The neighborhood had a snow machine busy all day to  have a "snow festival". They had a big pile for snowball fights and then this hill for sledding. This is how they do it in Texas!

Our sweet little Gwen. She is only a few weeks old in these pics.

My angel! My mom came to help.

Over the Christmas break Amie Jo and all the Cook's came to stay with us. We took Amie swimming at Zilker Park.
Yes thats right swimming in December!

The girls in the their Christmas pjs.

One of our neighbors goes all out for Christmas. Just about every night Millie would beg to go look at the lights.

Santa brought Millie a fish for Christmas

I took this picture just a few days ago. Her pjs are 3 month size and they are small. She is two months old!

When her hair is wet she has little curls.
I took the video below early November. That is a chopstick!
