{perhaps} the sweetest sound

So sadly our camera and stuff got stolen which had all of our pictures from Utah. I am totally uninspired to take pictures with my point-and-shoot, so for now I'll post a video. 

I don't know if there is a sweeter sound in the world than baby laughter. Really. For the last week or two Gwen has began to crawl. She is everywhere! Her favorite thing to get into is Kyah's water and food bowls.

 Earlier this month we went on a weekend beach trip to South Padre Island. Luke and I got caught in a CRAZY storm on our way down delaying our drive. After we passed through the storm we looked in our rear view mirror at the black sky and saw funnel clouds forming! The house we stayed in SP was so nice , the beach was perfect, and it was a blast to hang out with our friends all day and then laugh well into the night.

Luke turned 31 a few weeks ago. Millie was so excited to have a birthday party for him. She was way more excited about his birthday than he was.

Our little squishy is 6-months old! We went and took some pictures for the occasion yesterday.

April was a crazy one. My parents were in town the first part, a few weeks later Luke's mom was in town, the next week I flew to Utah, and then a week later Sasha and her gang and TJ came to visit. Such a whirlwind of fun, and now a whirlwind of pictures.

 "you don't know what you've got 'till it's gone" as brilliantly coined by a big hair '80s band. family. the go-to babysitters, Sunday dinners, holidays spent together, birthdays, watching grandma and grandpa play with your kids...... this past weekend we were blessed to have grandma and grandpa colledge come for a visit. i felt so special that my parents would take time out of their busy schedules to come spend some time with us and be here for us for gwen's blessing. i didn't realize how much i've missed them until they left. they are wonderful parents and grandparents and millie and gwen couldn't get enough of them. ♥
