a post full of pictures

We are officially in our new home! Hooray! Words can not express the utter joy I have at being in MY own home. It has been a long time coming. No more dealing with cigarette smoke in our apartment or people partying after midnight at the pool with loud music (which was right next to our apartment), no more fighting for the close parking spot and hauling in 3-4 loads of groceries plus a 2 year old in 100+ degree temps being huge and prego.... let it suffice to say, yes I'm really excited to be in a home. I've only posted a few pictures of the house which I took as we were moving in thus the rooms are basically empty. We do plan on painting and doing some fun stuff with the furniture and yard, but meanwhile our student hodgepodge furniture will have to work.

I am huge and pregnant. I still consistently get asked by complete strangers if the baby is coming any day and if I'm carrying twins (no exaggeration, Luke has been there a few times and can vouch for this). It is finally starting to cool down to the mid 80's and it actually feels really really nice.

Millie turned two this weekend and we took her to the Austin Zoo. It was pretty small but it was perfect for her. It only took us 1 1/2 hours to see all the animals and she got to feed and pet goats and sheep. She was in heaven.On Sunday we invited a few friends over and had cake and ice cream.

This is the afternoon we moved in. We had not seen rain since we moved here in June. The day we moved it rained. It was so nice. Everyone was outside dancing in puddles and playing in their yards.
